Today’s topic isn’t about someone who took the entertainment industry by storm, but it’s proof enough that even people who didn’t rise to extreme fame can still gain the recognition they deserve.

Today, we’ll talk about Elizabeth Ashley Wharton. Note that we’re not talking about the actress Elizabeth Ann Cole. Since her professional name is also Elizabeth Ashley, many people tend to confuse them. Even Google does that sometimes. That being said, let’s start with her early life.

Elizabeth Ashley’s Early Life

Elizabeth Ashley Wharton, born on October 29, 1983, is the daughter of Vince Neil, the iconic lead singer of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe.

Vince was married four times, and Elizabeth was his daughter from his very first wife: Beth Lynn, whom he married from 1981 to 1985. As of December 2024, Elizabeth Ashley Wharton is 41 years old.

Her parents divorced when she was only two years old, but despite that split, Vince remained involved in her life long enough to influence her future decisions. He taught her about music and encouraged her to build up her talents.

Despite being the only child to her mom, Elizabeth has, or at least “had,” two half-siblings: Neil Jason Wharton, born on October 3, 1978, and Skylar Lynnae Neil, who was born on March 26, 1991.

The reason we said “had” is because Skylar sadly passed away on August 15, 1995, at the age of four due to cancer.

Elizabeth Ashley’s Musical Career

Because of her father’s involvement and positive influence in her life, Elizabeth’s passion for music began at an early age. She started as a guitarist but soon fancied the bass guitar, which she picked up as her primary instrument.

Her love of music became such a priority in her life that she chose not to enroll in the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City to study classical singing despite being accepted. It was a strange decision to pursue her passion for music independently at the time, but it soon came to become a good one.

She kept performing as a bassist in various small bands, which helped her gain both experience and recognition. However, her big break was joining the Loomis & the Lust, an independent California-based band, around 2012. This particular band is famous for filing a copyright infringement lawsuit over the song “Domino” in 2012 against British singer Jessie J.

We do have a note here, though. Elizabeth is undoubtedly a talented bassist as of 2024. However, back at the time, we’re not sure if it was her talent that got her into Loomis & the Lust. At the time, she was more known for being Vince Neil’s daughter than being a talented bassist.

Regardless, she surely wasn’t deadweight, especially during the release of early EPs like Space Camp and Nagasha.

Note: For those of you who don’t know, an EP (Extended Play) is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single but fewer than an album or LP record.

Elizabeth Ashley’s Personal Life

We tried so hard not to include this juicy detail in the previous section, especially because it was so related to it. However, now is the time to reveal it. Elizabeth’s husband is Will Loomis, the founder of Loomis & the Lust. He’s a remarkably humble person, and you can feel it in his music.

He formed the band in 2007, initially gaining attention with their debut EP Nagasha released in 2009. Following their first EP, Loomis & the Lust released a second EP titled Space Camp in 2010.

The band continued to evolve and released a third EP called Sports Suck in 2012, along with singles like “My Fix.” Note that it’s unconfirmed whether Elizabeth has contributed to this particular EP.

Elizabeth Ashley’s Net Worth

Elizabeth Ashley has amassed a decent sum of $200,000 throughout her career. While that is a decent amount for most of us, her net worth lags behind her father’s massive $50 million. Still, we don’t hold it against her. Her father was a legend, after all, and she’s still at the beginning of her career.

Final Words

Elizabeth Ashley Wharton may not have shaken the musical world as her father has. However, that doesn’t underestimate her talent or worth in any way. The woman is talented and managed to make a name for himself. Plus, $200,000 isn’t to be underestimated at all.

She may not have appeared in the music scene lately. For all we know, she could have left it completely, but even if she had already made enough to help herself with a comfortable life. We can only wish her the best.
