At first glance, modeling seems like the easiest profession in the world. You just wear nice clothes and pose in front of a camera, right? Well, there’s more to it than that.
The long hours? The dietary restrictions? The constant rejections? I have nothing but respect for anyone pursuing this profession, especially those who started from nothing, like KT Lordahl. She’s one of my favorite models out there, and today, I’ll share why I admire her so much.

She comes from a simple family. Her father is a successful businessman, and her mother is a housewife. Despite being a famous influencer, Katelyn has never allowed her career to affect her studies. In fact, her teachers have always applauded her eagerness to learn. That’s why she constantly shares tips on balancing work and studying. I might need to check these out sometime.

While in high school, Lordahl realized how passionate she was about modeling, dancing, and makeup. So, she decided to do something about it. What did she do? Well, like any other aspiring model, she started entering modeling competitions. After winning many of them, she started making a name for herself.

What do you think? She posted lifestyle vlogs, funny sketches, and dancing videos, and lip syncs. That was the start of Lordahl’s explosive career.

Although she’s not that active on YouTube, her Instagram account has over 1 million followers. I know what you’re thinking: “What makes Lordahl different from any other model on social media.” One word: Style. Katelyn doesn’t just post pictures of herself in fancy clothes.
